July 18. 1907.

Dear Miss Whitney :-

This hand will be my voucher that I am back from my journey into the West; and these lines are primarily to assure you that, if all goes well as we now hope, we shall take the 10 o'clock train for Shelburne one week from to-day, on Thursday the 25th instant.

Needless to say that, with our happy memories of former visits, we are

looking forward with most pleasant anticipations to being with you again in your fair Shelburne, and to enjoying many conversations with you and your household.

Please remember us kindly to Mrs. and Miss Converse.

We will keep all reports of our for the most part commonplace doings until the hoped for meeting next week.

Yours very sincerely

Charles E. Fay.
