Boston Sept. 21-/84
This is to certify that I am here & much wanting to have a glimpse of a certain madonna on the coast. I was very much submerged in affairs bef. leaving Shelburne & could only inly xpress my grateful feelings for your later remembrances -
My mother is very feeble & ailing - & I shall run out as often as I can to see her - If it chance that you kindly project a visit to your old croney
& hateful absentee that has been - drop I pray a line saying what time she may anticipate that happiness. - of seeing you - & she will not fail - on her part. Love & blessing from her to thee.
