Miss. Whitney Sampson & Co.
[written in pencil: ?[June 20, 1873]]
My dear Sarah-
Behold me this lovely tropical PM, at James' shrine Broadway on our way up to Central Park. thence you infer that there is much left of me notwithstanding - & rightly - I feel like the lark that up to heaven's gate ascends - & you - how are you after that little escapade yesterday? Do let me know - I have not changed my plans - & will write again soon. But now they wait for me - Love to Mother & the rest.
Your A -
all well here
