Postcard to her mother describing schoolwork, a dinner with Ted, and a letter from Ralph.
Mon Mother darlin - Writing 2 papers today & reading “growth of the Soil” - letter later - suffice it - we went to Paps - T. stayed at Pomeroys - we talked during dinner in Old France. Some things straightened out - explained - apologized - and a box of candy at the end! Liked the picture, liked you, liked Pops. - sat on ground floor amid others who were drinking beer and smoking - and listened to Schubert & Wagner - it was indeed lovely - wish you might have heard it too. (The lecture was boring, they said.) Hope the train ride wasn’t too bad. But it was grand seeing you this weekend - perfectly grand. If you enjoyed being here as much as I enjoyed having you - it was grander. Card from R. today - had been in Trenton, N.J. for track meet! Are you inviting him to sleep in the attic room for the days he has between camp? I haven’t written yet, but I will. Love to you now. Indeed - Ginger
