Description

Postcard to her mother describing the Verse Speaking Choir's potential trip to England to compete against Oxford.

Transcript

[15 March, 1935] Friday Howdy - The Verse Speaking Choir would, but for a very small reason, be going to England this Summer to compete with the Oxford Verse Speaking Choir. Very nice, don’t you think? That’s what we decided at Miss deBanke’s last night at her very jolly dessert party. If only we could find someone to finance it - a marvelous advertisement for Wellesley, eh? Oh to be in England! Someday perhaps - who knows - meanwhile - Love to you in abundance Ginny
