Description

Letter to her mother describing breakfast, her professor's comments on her writing, plans for Prom.

Transcript

[21 February, 1935] Thurs. Darlin’ - Your letter despite mishaps therein, thoroughly enjoyed. Is Woody’s neutral dignity restored from the indignity of pancake battery. I could do with some of those right now, though the other Sunday morning we did have fried eggs! Just came from a conference with Miss Perkins, who said the only reason I didn’t get a A from her was because I talked around a subject too much - used too many words to say something, & she thought it was getting to be a bad habit! Prom is March 2, & Lunk is coming. I did express regrets to Ralph last night. Hurray for your B. Love Ginger
