Transcript

[31 October, 1934] Wednesday Dearest - And how’s the back? Get Betty to walk on it for you. Wish I were there to give it a Dutch rub! Visited Kindergarten this AM. - & the teacher’s name was Elizabeth Perkins - who taught Kindergarten. The kids were cute though. Crew at 1:40 & tomorrow the races! Got box of Lofts from Mum Mum this morning - she knows a way to get a letter from me! And I shall very shortly. Ruth Nicolls was interesting, entertaining, charming - phoned the story & they took it this morning. Bless their hearts. Thought of coming home this weekend, but wouldn’t the 17th be better? More central? Love Ginger
