Letter to her mother describing an evening with Lee, her date for an upcoming formal, a date with Stocky, and an upcoming Choir concert; and thanking her mother for information for a biography she must write.
Mother dearest - Report on this end shows increase the amt. of work & social activity. Went on a blind Sat. nite with Lee, to friend of her mother's - played ping pong, sang & enjoyed self immensely - date for formal dance on Wed. nite - man's name is Rod & is Harvard med. man - very nice. Concert with Stocky with supper in town afterwards yesterday (however, studied hard all A.M.) & date with him Sat. nite. Singing in the concert we give [deletion: with] at Exeter, New Hampshire on Sunday! When am I going to get my Biog. done? Hoping to hear favorable report from you, darling - please? (May have to give up the Sat. nite date - probably will.) Noon Your perfectly wonderful letter received - just the details I wanted - & I can already see the thing developing - hope I can do it now - oh, but it was grand of you to remember those significant things - just the right amt [mis-spelling: amount] - and to have them so soon & and so beautifully - You’re marvelous mumsy, in so very many ways - Love Me.
