Postcard to her mother describing canoeing with Ted, tea at Severance, and plans to go canoeing with Stocky.
How do you do, how do you do, please Mumsy me love, Yes thank you, I’ve just finished a fine lunch and only have 5 minutes to tell you not much of anything. Beautiful day,, flowers still lovely & highly appreciated. Very nice evening canoeing last night. Full moon, a minimum of mosquitoes, very comfy feeling.. “companionship” insisted and apprehended as practical and best, and much good comradeship… on the whole, quite satisfactory, glad to report. Tea at Severance for new prospective people this afternoon, canoeing again tonight…. but President of the Technicians. And I’m hoping the short member of “the family” won’t want to go canoeing Tuesday night! SO*****.....----- in the midst of all this, be assured of my love, Ginny
