Letter to her mother on her academic progress, missing a Christian Association meeting, being very busy, spending time with friends, and avoiding eating between meals.
[image: Wellesley College seal] SIGILLVM COLLEGII WELLESLEIANI NON MINISTRARI SED MINISTRARE Oct 28 Thursday night Dearest Mamma,- The gloves came and are all right. I don’t think they will be too large but I have not needed them yet. My hardest day for this week is over. I planned to go to C.A. meeting tonight but it commenced to rain and I was very tired so I decided to stay at home. I am now going to bed as Esther is sleepy and wants the lights turned out. She had company tonight for dinner: Dorothy Hart, who is lots of fun. [page 2] I got “credit” in my math exam the other day. Haven’t heard from Hist. Our French quizz this afternoon wasn’t a bit hard. I went over and called on Martha Myers yesterday. Found her washing her hair. She seemed glad to see me. I feel perfectly dandy this week. I’ve cut out eating between meals and I think that helps. Haven’t been up late since Monday. Well goodnight. Mary
