Sat. P.M. Dearest Mutter, Just a line to relieve you about the money. All I had to pay for the second semester was $9.00 and that I turned in some time ago. That is all I have to pay the rest of this year except room rent. That money order for $10.00 you sent some time ago I handed right over to Mrs. Moulton. I used my own money to come down to New Haven as that was about all I had, so will pay myself back with the $15.00 you sent me. I am sure I won't have to take in a roommate as all the girls who do have been notified, and anyway, I had a card from Mrs. Moulton this A.M. & she didn't say anything about it. You just get that game leg well, for you've got to come to Wellesley this year. And don't worry about clothes. Wellesley girls aren't critical. They look at the person, not at the clothes. Brownie said in a letter I had from her just yesterday that I was "to give her love to all the folks including little brother and tell my mother she is just waiting for the time to come when she shall see you." You cheer up, Mutter, & you'll get here all right. Love to all, Eleanor.
