Washington March 19 Well my dear little Frank how do you do to-day? Have you grown to be a great big boy, big enough to go to market yet? It’s a good while since I saw you and I hope you have grown so much that you have almost forgotten how to cry. You must be a good boy so mother can tell me how well you have tried to behave Now kiss Mother & Sella & Robby for father and go to bed if its night. Good bye Your dear Father [includes advertisement for "illuminated envelopes" Luther writing "My Brigade flag" under the picture depicing the flag for the 1st Brig., 2d Div, 5th Corps. also includes envelope inscribed "Dear Father's letters for Frank"]
